- Is there any cost involved?
Everything is free, including any water saving products or services we may offer you. If a plumber is required to fit any products inside your home, we will provide the plumbing for free. It is part of our legal duty to promote water saving and raise the awareness of using water wisely. H2eco emphasises our commitment to provide free water saving products to as many of our customers as possible.
- How can I apply?
You can apply by posting the application form found on the back page of the posted leaflet, online here, call us free on 0800 369 9933 or text 'Water' to 86688. For full details check your leaflet.
- What happens once I return my completed application?
Once we have received your application you will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for a qualified Mouchel plumber to deliver and fit (where suitable) water saving products.
Visits to properties will take place between June 2014 and September 2014.
- Why do I need to provide my telephone number?
It is essential that you provide your telephone number so we can arrange a mutually convenient appointment date and time for a qualified Mouchel plumber to deliver and fit (where suitable) water saving products.
Your telephone number will only be used for the purpose of this project and will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- How is the project securely delivered?
We are working with Mouchel who will be arranging appointments and plumber visits to your home. You should only expect a visit from a Mouchel plumber on the pre-organised date. Each Mouchel plumber will have a photographic identification badge.
We can arrange for a personal password to help you identify the Mouchel plumber. If you would like this service please call 0800 369 9933.
- Is there a limited number of customers who can take part in this project?
Yes. We have mailed 15,000 customers in Billericay offering them the opportunity to take part in our free H2eco project, but we have a limited number of products available. Complete your application and return it as soon as possible to avoid dissapointment.
- Are all water and energy saving products suitable for my home?
During your appointment, a qualified Mouchel plumber will assess water using appliances around your home to see if fitting the free products would actually save you water.
If it is decided that it would not be beneficial or possible to fit the product, then this would be explained to you by the qualified Mouchel plumber and where possible, an alternative will be offered.
- Can I take part if I live in a rented property?
Yes, you can take part if you live in a rented property, just contact your landlord for permission.

- What do I need to do to prepare for my H2eco appointment?
Nothing, but please make sure that all your water using fixtures and fittings are accessible for when the Mouchel plumber arrives. If you have any further questions or would like to apply for the H2eco project, please contact us on 0800 369 9933.
